Klingspor Touchscreen App
Problem
Klingspor is an abrasives manufacturer with a wide range of products and services. The newly expanded service portfolio, in particular, needed to be presented interactively at various trade fairs.
Concept
In collaboration with Heithoff & Companie, I conceptualized and designed a touch application that allowed Klingspor employees to explain and visualize all new service categories to trade fair visitors using drag-and-drop gestures. The touch application was optimized for 46″ monitors embedded in tables. Since the presenters' positions varied, we designed a main navigation that could be accessed from five different anchor points on the touch screen.
My Contribution
I was responsible for UX and UI design, as well as the development and testing of the app on various touch screens.
